Description

A nonprofit services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to their team in the Bronx.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Part-time (flexible)
Hours: 10 hours per week
Setting: Residential Group Home

Responsibilities:

Coordinate medical care and follow-up services for assigned individuals
Perform health assessments and monitor changes in condition
Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans and protocols
Document clinical findings and maintain required health records and logs
Communicate with physicians, families, clinicians, residential staff, and management regarding health-related concerns

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
CPR certification
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team

Desired Skills:

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Experience supporting OPWDD or IDD populations
Background in residential nursing, community health, school nursing, care coordination, or case management
