    Will not accept first time travelers
    RNs provide direct patient care (inpatients and outpatients) by prepping patients for their procedures, recovering patients from their procedures as well as delivering ongoing education to patients and their families. Nurses prep patients for their procedures by asking intake questions, attaching patient to monitors and placing IVs. Nurses also recover the patients. Patients are discharged home or transferred back to the floor.
    Procedures completed in interventional Pulmonology: Bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, chest tube, tunneled pleural catheters, various lung biopsies.
    Skilled needed: Procedural (pre/post) experience. Critical Care or PACU background. Comfortable placing IVs. Comfortable with EPIC charting.

    ***Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required***

    Will float within service line: Yes, will float to other procedural spaces within Ambulatory Services who provide similar Pre and Post Procedure Services.
    Pre and post care of Interventional Pulmonology patients who have undergone invasive bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy, pleural procedures, moderate sedation, ultrasound, plerux/aspira catheters, thoracentesis, some travel cases to floors and ICU's.
    BCLS and ACLS required
