Will accept inpatient oncology experience as part of total experience but must also have outpatient infusion clinic exp. Will not accept any other outpatient clinic experience except infusion clinic.
The center provides day hospital/infusion and outpatient clinic services to autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant patients as well as CAR-t patients. This is a fast paced clinic which offers the opportunity to rotate through multiple areas such as infusion/day hospital, lab/port draw, clinic and a bone marrow biopsy suite.
Responsibilities
"Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration and management, including investigational protocols
"Transfusion of blood, platelets and fresh frozen plasma
"Port draw, phlebotomy and central line access; central line care
"Procedural area with bone marrow biopsy/aspiration; minimal analgesia with recovery
"Management of toxicities r/t chemotherapy/biotherapy
"Management/monitoring patients with neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, and electrolyte abnormalities to include repletion
