Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Main OR for General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, Colorectal; HARD STOP: Circulate and Scrub experience required Ratio / Census: 16 Rooms with average daily census of 35 Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, 2 Davinci XI Robots Scrub Color: Provided by facility RTO: MAX 7 days RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th) Weekends: 2 3 weekends per 8 week schedule, either in-house or on call Floating: Rare, but within facility/scope of practice as needed Call Requirements: 7-8 calls in a 8 Week Schedule, 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shift Call shifts are either C1: 7 p.m. 7 a.m. or C2: 7 a.m. 7 p.m. Additionally, you will take 2 3 weekday night call shifts during the same 8 week period. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
