Registered Nurse Operating Room

Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse – Operating Room. This is a 13 week contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-operative patient assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and intraoperative care.
• Monitor patients during procedures and communicate changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital policies.
• Provide appropriate post-operative care and handoff.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Strong recent Operating Room nursing experience.
• High rating on the required skills checklist.
• Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity surgical environment.
• Availability for 10-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM–5:15 PM, including call, weekends, and holidays.
• Burn experience preferred.
