Registered Nurse / Nurse / RN - Direct, Permanent Hire

Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Required Certifications & Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.

Job Summary:

Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and meet personal learning needs; attend relevant education programs.
• Use patient education materials and assess readiness to learn.
• Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with team to evaluate care and ensure continuity.
• Provide safe, competent care for patients with complex needs.
• Perform point-of-care testing and follow standards and policies.
• Organize and prioritize care; consult resources for complex issues.
• Set and achieve professional growth goals; support unit objectives.
• Communicate effectively and give feedback to coworkers.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and cost-effective care.
• Assess patient needs, anticipate discharge, and support family advocacy.
• Plan care collaboratively, using multidisciplinary resources and cultural awareness.
• Stay informed through journals and share ideas for practice improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• One (1) year of nursing experience.

Education:

Required Education:

• Nursing Diploma. OR
• ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
