What Youll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to pre-term and surgical NICU patients in a Level 3 NICU setting
- Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:2 (standard) or 1:4 based on acuity
- Collaborate with charge nurses, resource nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Operate bedside telemetry monitoring and utilize the Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Administer medications via Pyxis, IV pumps, and other medical equipment
- Support a culture of safety and family-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to hospital protocols for infection control and patient safety
What You Need
Required:- Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
- 1+ year NICU experience, Level 3 or higher
- BLS, NRP, NIHSS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Preferred:- Experience working with pre-term and surgical NICU patients
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to participate in every other weekend rotation and on-call shifts
