What Youll Do- Provide expert nursing care to pre-term and surgical NICU patients in a Level 3 unit
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide bedside telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including RTs, PTs, OTs, Nurse Practitioners, and CRNAs
- Administer medications and support patient stabilization
- Maintain accurate charting using Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment
- Follow facility protocols for PPE and infection control
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or able to obtain
- BLS, NRP, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year NICU experience or higher
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Key Skills: - Strong clinical skills in neonatal care
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
Preferred:
- Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
- Previous hospital NICU experience
