Registered Nurse - NICU

Summary:

• Location: Children’s Hospital Colorado – Colorado Springs
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Dates: 11/17/2026 to 02/20/2026
• Shift: 12H Days 07:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Float Requirement: Peds Med/Surg and PICU
• Weekend Requirement: Based on the staffing needs of the unit
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays
• Float: Company reserves the right to float or reassign personnel within their clinical competence within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility

Requirements:

• Education: Must have BSN
• Licensure/Certification: RN
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
• Required Job Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience

Preferred Skills:

• Preferred Certifications: ACLS
• Comfort with patients from birth through 18 years of age
• Pediatric/PICU experience

Additional Notes:

• No RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed
