    Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Neuro Med Surg/Progressive Care Team in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time, night-shift opportunity.

    RNs on this unit provide care for patients who may need advanced care due to various conditions such as Parkinson's, seizures, Guillain-Barre, strokes, brain tumors, etc. Candidates with varied backgrounds including rehab/nursing home, Med/Surg, and PCU are encouraged to apply.

    As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for:

    • Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses

    • Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement

    • Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care

    • Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital

    • Serve as patient advocate

    • Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

    Experience Requirements:

    • 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience

    • Telemetry Experience

    • Hospital Experience

    Education & Credential Requirements:

    • Associate of Science in Nursing Required

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (American Heart Association)

    • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
