Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Isolation area for COVID patients, multi level care to include stepdown (cared for by stepdown staff, not M/S staff) UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, Epic, & SBAR UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours Travelers will attend hospital orientation during week 1 and must be available for daily classes SCRUBS: Navy *** INTERNAL NOTES *** *Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty *Locals accepted at local rate Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.** REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: BLS required 2 years of experience required First time travelers accepted Charge experience preferred JOB DETAILS: Shift: 12hr 1845-0715 *36 or 48hr contracts accepted* *Will accept longer contracts through 2/27/2026* Float required as needed Every other weekend required Ratio: 1:5-6 ** Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
