• Pay Rate: $46.66 $50.66 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (3x12 Hours), 7:00 PM 7:30 AM

Job Summary

This travel nursing contract assignment places a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, caring for medical, surgical, and cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring. The nurse will manage a caseload of 4 5 patients per shift alongside 2 CNAs and a unit secretary on all shifts, with a Charge RN out of staffing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical, surgical, and cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Manage 4 5 patients per nurse per shift
• Collaborate with 2 CNAs and a unit secretary on the floor across all shifts
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC
• Float to like units or nearby facilities as needed based on unit requirements
• Provide weekend coverage every other weekend, with schedule subject to change based on unit need

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of EPIC documentation system experience
• Proficiency with Omnicell medication system
• Ability to float to like units or close-by facilities as required

Education Requirements

• SC RN License required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Flu vaccination required no exemptions

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• Weekend coverage every other weekend; may vary based on unit need
• Float required to like units or nearby facilities if the need arises
• COVID-19 vaccination: not required
