• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $52.00 $56.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x12 Hours, 7:00 19:30; 36 or 48 hours per week; Weekend work required
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a float position on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit. The role requires the ability to float across units and includes mandatory weekend work. No scheduling requests can be accommodated, and no RTO (requested time off) is permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Float across MS/Tele units as assigned
• Work 3 out of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
• Maintain no RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Complete EKG exam administered on the first day of orientation and pass in order to move forward with the contract

Required Skills

• MS/Tele experience required
• Large facility experience (400 beds or larger) required for first-time travelers
• Ability to float across units
• Availability to work weekends as required

Education Requirements

• CA RN License required (must be active at time of submission; pending license not accepted)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience and large facility experience (400 beds or larger)

• Float position floating required across units
• Weekend work required
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated
• No RTO within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Flu vaccination required no exemptions

Important Notes

• EKG Exam is administered on the first day of orientation. Candidates must pass in order to move forward with the contract.
• Available start dates: November 2, November 16, and December 7
• Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions
• Pending CA RN License is NOT accepted license must be active at time of submission
• No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; must be able to work 3 out of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
