Unit details: This is the lone medsurg unit in a community hospital. Float: Would only be to take medsurg patients, either in ICU/PCU or ED for holds.

First timers accepted: Yes - needs to have more than 2 years of experience

Certs REQ: BLS, NIHSS preferred

Pending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB

RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.

Float: Would only be to take medsurg patients, either in ICU/PCU or ED for holds. Not likely to occur, but possible. EOW coverage

Unit details: This is the lone medsurg unit in a community hospital. It take patients from OR/ED/downgrades from ICU/PCU. Average 8-12 admits to the unit over a 24 hour period. Unit goal is to be at 5:1 patient ratio with charge out of staffing. However, flexing to 6:1 does occur.
