Charting: 1 yr of EPIC experience required REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS ======================= BLS, ACLS, NIHSS REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS ======================== Must have Ortho Experience UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING ========================= Ratios: 1:5-6 Adult 26-bed orthopedic spine unit specializing in spinal surgeries (laminectomies, spinal fusions, discectomies) with integrated pain management, physical therapy, & mobility support Patient diagnoses include Med/Surg, Tele, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, & PE Special procedures: bedside lumbar puncture, post Cath (radial/femoral), post-surgical care, post renal biopsy, CT Angio, and Heparin drips Floating: While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed. Requests will only be accommodated if approved by the facility at the time of booking. Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
