" Shift hours/Contract Length:

" Charting: 1 yr of EPIC experience required

" Weekend Requirement: Every Other

" RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission. Requests will only be accommodated if approved by the facility at the time of booking.

" Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

" Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

" Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria.

" Pending License Accepted: No. Must have an active SC or multistate license.

" Telemetry (remote), dysrhythmia interpretation & management, Rapid Response Team use

" CVA care, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, pre/post neurosurgery, continuous bladder irrigation, isolation precautions, surgical drain management, Feeding tube care


UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING

" Ratios: 1:4-5

" Patient Population & Unit Details: Adults with embolic & hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, neurosurgical cases (shunt revisions, tumor removals, craniotomies/cranioplasties). Stroke care follows AHA guidelines for Comprehensive Stroke Center designation.

" Floating: While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed. Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies.
