" Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

" Charting: 1 yr of EPIC experience required

" Ratios: 1:5-6
" Adult 26-bed orthopedic spine unit specializing in spinal surgeries (laminectomies, spinal fusions, discectomies) with integrated pain management, physical therapy, & mobility support
" Patient diagnoses include Med/Surg, Tele, cardiac, low-risk Client, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, & PE
" Special procedures: bedside lumbar puncture, post Cath (radial/femoral), post-surgical care, post renal biopsy, CT Angio, and Heparin drips
" Floating: While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed. Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies
