Assignment Details
2E MS/Tele RN (Ortho/Bariatric/Colorectal Post-Op)

2E is a 28-bed elective surgery and Level III trauma unit specializing in the post-operative care of:
"Orthopedic patients
"Spinal surgery patients
"Bariatric surgery patients
"Colorectal surgery patients

The unit also cares for Level III trauma patients and accepts Medical-Surgical overflow as census permits. The unit has the capability to monitor up to 8 telemetry patients.

Schedule Options: 3x12s or 4x12s
Overtime: Paid after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules
Please clearly indicate the candidate s preferred schedule at the time of submission.
Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required.

Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required!!
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.

Patient Ratios

Typical ratio is 1:7.
Please ensure the candidate is fully pre-closed and comfortable with the patient ratios before submission.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience
Previous travel experience required
Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions
Must be proficient in Epic; no exceptions

Required Certifications

BLS through the American Heart Association
ACLS through the American Heart Association
