Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $58.72 $62.72 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12 Hours (19:00 7:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
• Travel Requirements: Local candidates not accepted candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse travel assignment at an acute hospital in Anchorage, AK. The unit serves ortho, neuro, tele, morbidly obese, and bariatric surgery patients, as well as general medical patients. First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on the MS/Tele unit, including orthopedic, neurological, telemetry, bariatric surgery, and general medical patients
• Float to like units within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Provide weekend coverage, which could be more frequent than every other weekend and is subject to staffing needs

Education Requirements

• Active RN License AK RN license required (pending license accepted; must have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer)
• Must be able to complete AK RN license application within 48 hours of signing (including submitting fingerprints, application fee, and license application submittal)
• BLS Certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Required Skills

• Skills per unit director (UD) requirements
• Ability to float within scope to like units to meet facility needs

• Pending license accepted; however, candidate must have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer

• RTO: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer; all RTO must be included in submittal
