Registered Nurse - Medical - Surgical (Pediatrics)

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in medical, surgical, and pediatric settings.
• Adapt to floating requirements, including medical, oncology, respiratory, cardiac acute care, rehab, NICU, and possible NOC sites.
• Participate in modified self-scheduling through an internal scheduling committee.
• Fulfill weekend and holiday requirements as needed for scheduling.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility.
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience.
• Experience with trach/vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, chest tubes, JP drains, central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, colostomy, ileostomy, cecostomy, nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients, and trauma and rehabilitation patients.
• Required Certification: BLS

• BSN
• Previous travel experience
