Registered Nurse/Medical Surgical - Neuro

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med Surg Neuro RN to join our dynamic team at a renowned acute care hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant community known for its beautiful parks, excellent schools, and friendly atmosphere.

Position Details

• Shift Time: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, rotating 3x12s
• Patient Ratios: Days - 1:4, Nights - 1:5
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year with strong Medical Surgical and Neuro experience
• Weekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend
• Certifications Required: BLS, NIHSS
• On-Call Requirement: No
• Floating Requirement: No floating within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Local Applicants: Not accepted within a 100-mile radius
• Pending License: Accepted
• Request Time Off Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without penalty

Special Requirements

• Work in Medical Surgical, Neuro, and Trauma unit
• Approximately 60-70% of patients are Neuro patients
• Care for Trauma patients from the ICU after initial stabilization
