Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the Med-Surg GI, Urology, GYN specialty. This position requires working night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in a Med-Surg setting with a focus on GI, Urology, and GYN patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize telemetry for remote monitoring and participate in rapid response teams.
• Manage IV insulin protocols, colostomy care, and feeding tube management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.
• Flexibility to float within the scope to meet facility needs.
• Not open to block scheduling or local applicants.

Note: Guaranteed hours may be subject to cancellations without penalty. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours. Preferred candidates will have experience in MS/Tele, post-cardiac surgery, post-MI, post-angiogram, and pre/post-hemodialysis management.
