    Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Night Shift, Full-Time (36 hours/week)
    Department: General Med/Surg III
    Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center

    What We're Looking For:
    • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
      • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
    • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
    • Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
    What You'll Do:
    • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adult acute-care patients with diverse medical diagnoses
    • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
    • Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments safely and effectively
    • Develop and strengthen clinical skills including wound care, IV insertion and management, blood specimen collection, and g-tube management
    • Provide care for patients with stable tracheostomies as needed
    • Educate patients and families to support recovery, self-management, and successful discharge planning
    • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
    • Support initiatives focused on reducing readmissions and improving long-term patient success
    • Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and exceptional patient experiences
