Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Float Pool
Location: Atlanta, GA 30303
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 36 hours/week
Type: Local & Travel
1. Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- EPIC experience required
- Strong Medical/Surgical acute-care experience
- Must be comfortable floating to multiple Medical/Surgical units
- No RTO (requested time off)
- Prior travel experience preferred
2. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care across various Medical/Surgical units within the hospital's Float Pool.
- Float between Med/Surg areas based on staffing and patient-care needs.
- Assess patients, administer medications, monitor conditions, and respond to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
3. Compensation and Additional Details:
- Travel Weekly Gross:$2,080/week
- Weekly Stipend: $1,792/week non-taxable
- Taxable Hourly Pay: $8/hour on W2
- Overtime: $61.77/hour on W2 after 40 hours/week
- Local Pay: $51/hour on W2
- 36 guaranteed hours/week
Important: This is a Medical/Surgical Float Pool position. The RN must be flexible and willing to float to all Med/Surg areas as needed.
