Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients while monitoring cardiac rhythms and coordinating interdisciplinary care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg/Telemetry RN experience
• Active Ohio RN or Compact RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Successful ECG Rhythm Recognition Test during orientation
• Successful SafeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Travelers must be willing to work at least every other holiday

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Med/Surg/Telemetry nursing care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments
• Assess and document patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow patient-safety and infection-control standards
• Float to other appropriate units as required
• Work rotating day/night shifts
• Work at least every other holiday
