A hospital in the Panama City Beach, FL area is looking for Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to join its team! Acute care experience must be within the last 3 years, or within the last 5 years for candidates with several years of RN experience.

A hospital in the Panama City Beach, FL area is looking for Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to join its team! Both day and night shifts are available.

Position Highlights

• Permanent, full-time position

• Day Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM

• Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM

• Rotating weekends required

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1

• 238-bed acute care hospital

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required (does not have to be Med-Surg)

• Acute care experience must be within the last 3 years, or within the last 5 years for candidates with several years of RN experience

• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma

• BLS certification required within 30 days of starting

• Strong patient assessment, communication, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting

• Assess and monitor patient conditions

• Administer medications and treatments

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery

• Maintain accurate patient documentation
