Registered Nurse - Med/Surg 2

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. What You'll Do: As an RN on Medicine II, you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical needs, giving you the opportunity to strengthen your assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills.

What We Offer:

Schedule: Full-Time Days (36 hours/week) 

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 

Department: General Medical Surgical Innovation Unit (Med/Surg II) 

Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other or every third weekend rotation, plus holiday rotation requirements 

Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center

What We're Looking For:

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
