Registered Nurse – Management Functions (SNF)

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to provide quality clinical care while assisting with the day-to-day management of nursing operations in a skilled nursing facility. This role combines direct patient care with leadership, staff supervision, and coordination of resident services.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee nursing care for residents in accordance with care plans and facility standards.
• Supervise and support CNAs, LPNs, and other nursing staff.
• Serve as a resource and clinical leader for the nursing team.
• Assist with staff assignments, scheduling, and daily nursing operations.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions and follow-up.
• Assist with medication management, treatments, documentation, and care-plan updates.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with staff training, orientation, and performance management.
• Promote compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and CMS/SNF standards.
• Support quality assurance, infection prevention, and resident safety initiatives.
• Assist with audits, documentation reviews, incident reporting, and survey readiness.
• Perform other nursing and management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Previous SNF/LTC experience preferred.
• Prior charge nurse, supervisory, Unit Manager, ADON, or other nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of PointClickCare or similar EHR systems is a plus.
