What You Need to Succeed:
- Minimum of 3+ years of ER experience, with 5+ years preferred
- Valid KS or Compact State Nursing License
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and adaptability
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Additional Skills That Boost Your Profile:
- Experience in large hospital settings
- Ability to float across departments when needed
- Prior experience with night shifts and emergency response protocols
Educational and Professional Background:
- Active Registered Nurse License in Kansas or eligible for Compact License
- Preferred Bachelors Degree in Nursing or higher
- Extensive ER experience in a high-volume facility
Other Important Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours/week
- Shift length: 12 hours, with opportunities for additional on-call and weekend shifts
- Orientation on Mondays prior to start
- Rare float requirements to other departments
- Holiday and weekend work as needed
- On-call: One per week as scheduled
- All certifications and credentials must be current; credentials due by Wednesday before start date
