Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide specialized maternal and newborn care in a high-acuity hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures
Monitor patients receiving conscious sedation
Collaborate with obstetric and neonatal care teams
Perform neonatal resuscitation and emergency interventions as needed
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout delivery
Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure quality care
Support patient safety and positive birth outcomes
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Minimum 2 years Maternal & Child Health experience required
Minimum 2 years IV insertion and phlebotomy experience required
Minimum 2 years conscious sedation experience required
Associate Degree in Nursing required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Active New York RN license required
NYSED Primary Source Verification required
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP certification required
Strong Labor & Delivery and emergency response skills
Full English proficiency required
