• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $80.00 $85.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (4x12 Hours), 18:45 07:15; 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday; will consider 3x12's or 4x12s
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery travel nursing position at a major medical center in Worcester, MA. The nurse will be assigned to a maternity float pool and will be required to work both Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum (PP).

Key Responsibilities

• Work within the maternity float pool, rotating between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum assignments as required.

Education Requirements

• MA RN License required (Pending MA license is acceptable upon being offered, the traveler must apply for the MA conditional/temp license within 48 hours after signing)
• AWHONN Intermediate level certification or above required
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• NRP required

Required Experience

• 3 years of experience strongly preferred; will consider 1 2 years with travel experience
• Experience with Epic EMR required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift: 18:45 07:15 (4x12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
• Local candidates accepted (same bill rate applies)

Important Notes

• Candidates must be submitted with confirmation that they are aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams allow only 1 attempt. If the traveler does not pass, the contract is cancelled immediately. Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and FDIs.
• Pending MA license is acceptable at submission. Upon being offered, the traveler must apply for the MA conditional (temp) license within 48 hours after signing.
