Assignment Details: Fetal Monitoring: Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, external/internal fetal monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration. Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 26-week travel assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster. Consolidation to the centralized office mid-contract may occur.
Assignment Details:
Fetal Monitoring: Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, external/internal fetal monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration.
IV Therapy: Administration of blood and blood products, starting and maintaining IVs.
Float Requirement: Yes – Mother/Baby care. Specific locations and distances not provided.
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend.
During times of increased census, typical ratios may be higher for teamwork. Contract staff will be equally assigned to the home unit staff to ensure patients are covered with an RN.
