Department/Unit Overview: Our patient population in our 20-bed unit is diverse and includes but is not limited to CHF, Sickle Cell, Renal Failure, Diabetes, Vascular, Sepsis, COPD, Pneumonia, Osteomyelitis w/ Surgical Intervention, Wound Care, and varying disease processes. Our specialty is Observation short stay patients. We have 10 Observation beds.
Education

Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
