Title: Registered Nurse - Internal Medicine

Location: Lincoln Square, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract, Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week

Compensation:
Pay Range: $36.75-52.50 Per HR

Description:
• Provide primary care to patients, including assessment and treatment.
• Develop care plans and perform medical care evaluation.
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain licensure and certification.
• Support patients with self-care management.
• Coordinate outpatient work-up and treatment plans.
• Monitor patients and assure complete documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and plan work based on patient needs and team skills.
• Support implementation of organizational programs and procedures.
• Collect data and adjust processes to meet program requirements.
• Teach and support patients with self-care management.
• Follow up on abnormal lab results requiring patient action.
• Handle medication refill requests as per procedure.
• Provide direct care, including blood pressure checks and wound care.

Qualifications:
• Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of one to two years' experience in Medical Practice/Primary Care, Med-Surg, ER, and/or Occupational Health.
