Requirements
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience(4–5 years of ICU experience preferred; 2 years minimum required.)
Experience in one or more of the following:
ICU
SICU
CTICU
Trauma ICU
Medical-Surgical ICU
Neuro ICU
Previous travel nursing experience required
CRRT and Prismaflex experience required
Strong cardiac/heart experience highly preferred
Epic EMR experience required
Active New York RN license
All active RN licenses must be verified through Nursys
Current AHA certifications required:
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Specialty skills checklist required
Valid driver's license with address matching submitted demographics
RTO must be included at time of submission
Willingness to float as needed

42-bed ICU
Neuro/Medical ICU
Cardiothoracic ICU
Surgical/Trauma ICU
Adult high-acuity patient population
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Floating required as needed to applicable ICU units

Neuro/Medical ICU:
Stroke
Sepsis
Altered mental status
Neuro interventions
Respiratory failure
CHF
Post-STEMI
Cardiothoracic ICU:
Cardiovascular surgery
Cardiogenic shock
AAA surgery
Surgical/Trauma ICU:
Trauma
Major post-operative surgical patients
Required Clinical Skills & Equipment
Candidates must be comfortable with high-acuity ICU equipment and therapies, including:
CRRT – Prismaflex or NxStage
IABP
Mechanical ventilation
Ventriculostomy
ICP monitoring
TTM / Arctic Sun
Advanced hemodynamic monitoring

Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Floating: Required as needed
Scrub Color: Navy
Floating may include applicable ICU units; Behavioral Health and the Emergency Department are excluded except when holding patients.
Heart/cardiac experience is highly preferred and will be prioritized.
