Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Travel Contract

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit
Department: 640A Intensive Care Unit
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Shift: 3×12-hour shifts / 36 hours per week
Local Candidates: No local candidates within 50 miles

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience

• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

• CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred

• Recent experience in a General Medical-Surgical ICU

• Experience with Cerner preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a General Medical-Surgical ICU

• Perform continuous patient assessments and closely monitor vital signs and clinical status

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders

• Manage patients requiring complex monitoring and critical care interventions

• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to clinical emergencies

• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow infection-control and patient-safety standards

Holiday Requirement

Must work 2 major holidays from:

• Thanksgiving Day

• Christmas Day

• New Year's Day

And 1 minor holiday:

• Friday after Thanksgiving

• Christmas Eve

• New Year's Eve
