Position Details
Position: ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Newnan, GA
Shift: Nights
Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts
Required Qualifications
Active RN License
BLS (AHA), ACLS, Chemotherapy Certification
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
Trauma Level II experience required
Experience with critically ill oncology and medical ICU patients preferred
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to adult and geriatric ICU patients.
Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill oncology and medical ICU patients.
Administer chemotherapy, blood products, IV medications, and emergency therapies.
Manage ventilated patients and advanced respiratory support modalities.
Titrate cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, sedatives, and critical care infusions.
Perform central line, PICC line, and port management.
Monitor and manage patients receiving CRRT/CVVHD.
Assist with chest tube insertion, removal, and ongoing management.
Interpret cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, ABGs, and critical laboratory results.
Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide accurate Epic documentation and utilize SBAR communication standards.
