About the Role:MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 12-week ICU contract position in Westminster, CA. NIGHT SHIFT. Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting for critically ill and complex patients
- Monitor and assess hemodynamic status, ventilator management, and critical care interventions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders and evidence-based protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress accurately in the EMR system
- Respond swiftly to rapid changes in patient condition and participate in code response as needed
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact license eligibility
- Minimum 1 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drips
- Experience with common EMR/EHR systems preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new hospital environments and protocols
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
