Location: Raceland, LA
Rate: $50.00 per hour
Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, in-home patient care. This role involves working independently in the field, delivering a wide range of skilled nursing services across a defined geographic area.

Schedule & Coverage

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Weekly Guarantee: 40 hours
  • Coverage Area: Within a 50-mile radius of the Raceland office
  • On-Call/Weekend Requirement: Not required, but flexibility to assist as needed is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Mileage reimbursement provided (from first patient to last patient visit)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care in a home health setting
  • Perform specialized clinical procedures, including but not limited to:
    • IV therapy, PICC lines, and midline care
    • JP drains and wound vac management
    • Tracheostomy care
    • Indwelling and suprapubic catheter changes
    • Advanced wound care
    • PleurX drains
    • Lary tube management
    • PEG tube care
    • Ostomy care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Manage daily schedules effectively to meet productivity expectations

Productivity Expectations

  • 30 points per week

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Proven experience in home health or similar clinical settings
  • Demonstrated competency in advanced nursing skills listed above

  • Positive, patient-focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently in a field environment
