Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses for opportunities with a busy outpatient Surgery Center in the Western Triad area.This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with ASC, PACU, procedural, or recovery experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and working closely with physicians and clinical teams.Position DetailsPay: $29.00–$36.00/hour, based on experienceSchedule: Monday–Friday, beginning at 6:15 AMHours: End time varies based on patient volume, typically between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM or later as needed; 40 hours per week guaranteedEmployment Type: Temp-to-Hire; direct-hire consideration may be available for highly qualified candidatesLocation: Western Triad, NCKey ResponsibilitiesAssess patients throughout pre-op, procedure, and recoveryObtain and monitor pre- and post-sedation vital signsAssist physicians during proceduresAdminister medications and monitor patient responseProvide safe care for patients receiving moderate/conscious sedationMonitor airway, recovery status, and readiness for dischargeProvide patient education and discharge instructionsDocument assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responsesComplete pre-op reviews and post-procedure follow-upMaintain medication and narcotic documentationEnsure emergency equipment and clinical areas are properly maintainedCollaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, nursing, and support staffMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with established clinical policies and standardsMust-Have QualificationsActive North Carolina RN licenseCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationMinimum 1 year of ASC, PACU, procedural, or similar outpatient surgical experienceExperience with patient assessment and medication administrationExperience assisting physicians during proceduresKnowledge of moderate/conscious sedation monitoring and patient recoveryComfortable with IV preparation and IV-related responsibilitiesStrong EMR experience; EPIC experience is strongly preferredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical settingStrong teamwork, reliability, and ability to take directionWork EnvironmentThis is a busy outpatient clinical environment where nurses are active and on their feet throughout the day.
