Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-site health care and emergency response services in support of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Facility Nurse Station located at Boyers Mine. The RN will be responsible for minor health care services, emergency response, first aid, CPR response, medical record management, utilization reporting, and related nurse station operations in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
    • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
    • Ability to provide healthcare and medical response services within the State of Pennsylvania.
    • Ability to work independently within a secure federal facility environment.
    • Experience providing patient assessment, treatment, emergency response, and clinical documentation services.
    • U.S. Person status as required by contract security provisions.
    • Ability to satisfy contract-specific security eligibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, treatment, counseling, and referral services for minor illnesses and injuries.
  • Respond to medical emergencies within the facility and provide first aid and emergency care until emergency medical services arrive.
  • Administer CPR and other emergency response measures within scope of licensure.
  • Monitor blood pressure and blood glucose levels as required.
  • Assist with prescribed injections when required.
  • Maintain medical supplies, emergency medications, and clinical equipment.
  • Create, maintain, store, and manage medical records in compliance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Participate in emergency planning efforts when requested by the Government.
  • Administer patient satisfaction surveys.
  • Prepare monthly utilization reports and other required reports.
  • Maintain a professional clinical environment and support optimization of nurse station operations.
  • Follow all facility access, safety, security, and operational procedures.
