Registered Nurse - 32 hr/week - Afternoons - Brighton Center for Recovery
Our Livingston County facility was the first recovery center for substance use disorder in Michigan and the second in the country. Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm
Pay Range: 31.28/hr - 32.33/hr
Description:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- BSN preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).
- RN Lactation Consultant: IBCLC certification must be acquired within 12 months of hire & maintained. One to two (1-2) years as a Lactation Consultant/Specialist preferred.
- RN Wound Care: Completion of accredited wound care program (before certification requirements). WOCNCB/NCCA/CNA certification within 18 months of hire; certification must be maintained and current.
