Position Overview
Keep Active Health & Wellness is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing medical and wellness practice.
This is a
full-time, hands-on clinical nursing position focused on
IV therapy, blood draws, injections, and patient care. The ideal candidate is confident with IV placement and phlebotomy, comfortable administering injections, and able to work efficiently in a busy clinic environment. We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, patient-focused, and willing to help wherever needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Start and monitor IV therapy infusions
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws
- Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
- Administer GLP-1 injections, including Semaglutide and Tirzepatide
- Administer vitamin and wellness injections as ordered
- Monitor patients during treatments
- Provide patient education regarding injections and treatments
- Review patient charts and provider orders before administering medications or treatments
- Accurately document treatments, medications, and patient care in the EMR
- Follow proper medication administration and injection protocols
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical areas
- Assist with general clinic flow and patient care as needed
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and clinic policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with providers and other members of the clinical team
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong IV placement and phlebotomy skills
- Experience administering IM and subcutaneous injections
- Previous IV infusion experience strongly preferred
- Health, wellness, med spa, or outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule
Full-Time
- Weekday availability during clinic hours of 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Two Saturdays per month, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Schedule will be based on clinic staffing and patient needs
- Flexibility is required to help provide appropriate clinic coverage

Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher preferred
Experience
- IV infusion experience: Preferred
- Phlebotomy/blood draw experience: Required
- IM and subcutaneous injection experience: Required
- Health and wellness or outpatient clinical experience: Preferred
- EMR experience: Preferred
License/Certification
- Active Virginia RN License: Required
- BLS/CPR Certification: Required
