Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $62.66 $66.66 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift (3 12 Hours), start time 7:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need. Flex occurs very rarely, only when there is an urgent staffing need.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel contract opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse at a medical center in Worcester, MA. The role is a night-shift position supporting the ER department.

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts RN license in hand required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• EPIC charting system proficiency preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience required

Required Skills

• Must be able to read telemetry

Preferred Skills

• EPIC charting system experience preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination: not required
• Night shift with scheduling flexibility of up to four hours before or after posted 7:00 PM start time based on urgent critical department staffing need

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam
• Both exams allow only 1 attempt failure to pass either exam results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs
