POSITION: Registered Nurse ER (Adult)


SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING
===============================
" Shift hours/Contract Length: 7p-7a, 15 weeks

" Charting: EPIC experience required

" Weekend Requirement: Every Other

" RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Must submit requests upon submission

" Call off Policy: The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours.

" Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed

" Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

" Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: RN's within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Locals accepted for LPN's


REQUIRED LICENSE/ CERTIFICATIONS
================================
" Pending License Accepted: No, Must have an active New York Single State RN license. (NY is not Compact)

" BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Please include valid NIHSS in submittal.


REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
========================
" IV therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs); IV vasopressors

" CPAP/BiPAP; Ventilator management

" CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI

" Cardiac monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias)

" Emergency care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma)

" Isolation precautions; Triage; Pediatric spinal cord injury


UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING

" Ratios: 1:5; Adults, Geriatrics; All emergency type diagnoses

" Special Equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment

" Floating: Will be required to float within skillset

" Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white
