• Pay Rate: $59.36 $63.36 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Variable start times night shift, 12 hours, 1500 or 1900 start; every other weekend required

Job Summary

This is a travel nursing opportunity in the Emergency Department (ED) at an Acute Care Hospital in Napa, CA. The facility operates with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and uses Epic for charting. The position is open to local candidates and first-time travelers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Chart and document patient care using Epic
• Work variable start times on 12-hour night shifts (1500 or 1900 start)
• Work every other weekend as required
• Adhere to facility scrub color requirements (Solid Royal Blue for RN)

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of ED/ER RN experience required
• Ability to work variable start times (1500 or 1900) on 12-hour shifts
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• RTO (Request Time Off) restrictions must be included at time of submission
• Pending license not accepted active license required at time of submission
• Block schedule not available
• No float to other units required
• No on-call requirement

Education Requirements

• Active RN License required (pending license not accepted)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
• BLS/BCLA required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required

• Winter Bill Rate Increase: Effective October 4, 2026 through February 27, 2027; after February 27, 2027 the rate automatically returns to the standard rate
• Cancellations due to a rate change after signature will result in a systemwide DNR (Do Not Return)
