Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract (Travel Nursing)
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $63.20 $67.20 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 3x12 Variable Day Shift 7:00 AM 7:00 PM / Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2-week period
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel nursing contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care at an Acute Care Medical Center / Long Term Care Facility / Outpatient setting. The facility is a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital with 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds. First-time travel nurses are accepted for this assignment.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Weekend availability required
• On-call not required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Education Requirements

• Current RN License required (pending license not accepted)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required

• Charting system: Epic

Important Notes

• Local candidates not accepted candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending license not accepted; active RN license required at time of submission
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
• Flu vaccination: Status not specified confirm with recruiter

Housing Information:

• Facility provides housing to travelers during the assignment
• Housing units are typically 1-bedroom apartments
• Housing will be available for move-in no earlier than 72 hours before contract begins and no longer than 24 hours after contract ends
• PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED
• Housing units are typically large enough to accommodate only the traveler; bringing additional family members is not common and must be approved by the facility
• Housing unit must be cleaned upon departure or additional cleaning fees will be billed to the traveler
