About the Role:MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced Emergency Room team in Hartsville, SC. This is a 13-week contract. Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency department setting
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize care based on patient acuity
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, techs, and specialists
- Respond to critical and life-threatening situations with speed and clinical accuracy
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state eligibility
- Minimum most recent 2 years of emergency room or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and certifications required
- TNCC or ENPC certification a plus
- Strong critical thinking, triage, and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
