Registered Nurse (RN) willwork at theCaroMontHealthMainEmergencyDepartment forBehavioral Health at theGastonialocation. Fast-paced ED where behavioral health patients are asignificantpart of our daily volume and where exceptional care, staff safety, and efficient patient flow are priorities. Our ED has developed dedicated processes and workflows designed specifically to support the behavioral health population, allowing our teamto provide safe,timely, and patient-centered care while achieving efficient turnaround times. Perform all activitiesin accordance withapproved policies and guidelines. Supervises and delegatesappropriate dutiesto ancillary personnel. Availability:36 hoursper week Shifts:7:00pm-7:30am Benefits:Full Time / Includes 403b Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). BSNpreferred;professional nursing certification preferred. RecentEDexperience withinpast3 yearspreferred. Emergency Department Behavioral Health experiencestronglypreferred. Registered Nurse (RN) must meet general hospital and departmental competency requirements. Current technical certificates such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) as required by specialty area.
