    Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Idaho Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Educator to join our regional team located in Boise, Idaho. Candidate must live in the Treasure Valley area.

    The Nurse Educator is responsible for planning, designing, conducting, and evaluating clinical educational programs, nurse mentoring programs, conferences, in-services, and other associated activities. Must be available to travel throughout the state to other facilities. In the event of a critical staffing vacancy, you may be asked to fill an available shift at another facility.

    • Associate's degree required
    • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho or ability to obtain one required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Three (3) years of experience in training and education
    • Ability to design, prepare, deliver, and modify course curriculum and associated aids
    • Knowledge of nursing education and clinical theory and practice
    • Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
    • Corrections experience preferred
    • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
    • Will also need to obtain their BLS instructor certification
    • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
    • Ability to cover in a facility if needed
    • Ability to travel to outlier facilities for education purposes

    Available Shift: full-time days Monday - Friday
